May 11, 2024 The primary role of a Head Nurse is to ensure that nurses being supervised perform their nursing duties following proper medical nursing procedures,
upholding hospital standards of health, hygiene, and safety, and quality service to patients and their families.
Maintains role model behavior and acts as team leader.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
- Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- With updated Professional Regulatory Commission License
- With updated training (Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, IV Therapy, Standard First Aid).
- With at least one (1) year of experience as a leader in the hospital setting.
- Preferably with units of Master’s Degree in Nursing
